حالة وفرص التعويض للناجين من العنف الجنسي المرتبط بالنزاع في جنوب السودان
سبتمبر 2021
This new alternative report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child exposes how children born of conflict-related sexual violence in South Sudan remain among the most marginalised and invisible victims of war. Based on survivor testimony and new research, it shows how discrimination, lack of birth registration, violence, stigma and exclusion from education deny these children their basic rights and identity
.
The report calls for legal recognition of these children as direct victims of conflict, protection within national frameworks, access to services, psychosocial support, and public action to end stigma. It urges the South Sudanese government and international community to ensure these children are seen, protected and included in law, policy and reparation processes.
