Addressing Structural Discrimination in Sudan

May 2022

This report looks at the ongoing Sudan crisis as it develops on several interconnected fronts, and the ongoing impact of racism and structural discrimination on communities in Sudan. It addresses both the repression of the pro-democracy movement in the wake of the coup and the recent escalations in violence in the Darfur region.

The findings are based on a series of meetings in South Kordofan, North Darfur and Khartoum, where civil society organisations and policy shapers addressed racism, structural discrimination and necessary reforms.

This project is partly funded by KAICIID International Dialogue Centre. The content does not necessarily reflect the views of the donor.
